2000 years of rainfall in the South Pacific: a first annual record from caves in the Cook Islands

My project is to reconstruct the past 2000 years of annual rainfall variability in the South Pacific by using speleothems. Physical and chemical proxy data of surface processes recorded in stalagmites reveal causes of climate change back to millions of years ago.
